While uniquely original at first glance, you will be surprised to learn that Billy Sheehan's style comes from a combination of fundamental bass-playing techniques and a logical approach. Both his two-handed tapping and paradiddle for example are super techniques stemming from the very basics of music.
In “Creativity On Bass” you will first learn about the fundamentals that every bass player should know. Then, Billy’s own practice methods for learning basic techniques will be introduced, along with step-by-step instructions and technical demonstrations in a slower tempo. Further along, you will learn how to interpret these techniques into more creative playing styles, putting you well on your way to developing your own original musical expressions.
